Event Organizer Tools
Event organizers can now run their events through firebo.lt:
- Host an Event with venue, dates, free/paid entry, and a three-stage visibility lifecycle — announce first, share game listings with GMs via a secret link, then open to the public
- Event games — attach game listings to an event, assign a GM to each table
- Venues — shared venue database with address, description, website, and map pin
- No account needed to join — players can sign up for event games without creating an account
Forum
You're looking at it. A proper old-school forum with a modern twist:
- Categories, boards, topics, posts — all with markdown formatting
- Emoji reactions on every post with a popup showing who reacted
- Designed to work on phones
Private Messaging Upgrades
Messaging got a serious overhaul:
- Group chats — name it, add people with live search and avatars. The creator can rename, add, and remove members. Everyone can leave at any time
- One button to gather your party — GMs and event organizers can start a group chat with all approved players from a game listing
- Edit messages — fix typos in place, edited messages show a small "edited" mark
- Read indicators — checkmarks show whether your message was read. In group chats: "read by some" and "read by everyone"
- Reactions — react to private messages with emoji, see who reacted, reactions count in your unread badge
- Messagę deletion — delete single messages for yourself or everyone, or wipe a whole conversation
Under the Hood
A round of security hardening went over the entire site. Several minor bugs were squashed before they could surface.
