The chapter has suffered heavy losses. The few surviving space marines are mourning the loss of their battle brothers and the shame of a retreat. The crew of twenty thousand serfs bound to the life of toil on board the imperial frigate "Loyal Fury" are facing an uncertain future. Soon, there may be no more masters to serve.

Remember: you are chaff to the Astartes’ CERAMITE. Remember: you are mud to the Astartes’ HURRICANE. Remember: you are a candle to the Astartes’ SUN. You are no Astartes. But you are close - you are a VILLEIN, part of an Astartes Chapter's fief. This alone, the catechisms teach, puts you above the common throng of humanity.
